This is my first time to post here for something "not so good".

I subscribed tactical knives magazine on line via their web subscribe system about 3 months ago. They have International subscription.
http://www.tacticalknives.com/

They charged my card on May 9th. But I have not received any issue from them.
I know they said the international order takes time to process, so I'm waiting patiently and quietly more than 100 days.

9 days ago I sent one email asking about my subscription but no answer. 3 days ago I dropped another mail for same question, why I still have not received any issue?
No answer yet when I write this post.

The money I paid for TK is no big deal, but I wonder why one monthly issued magazine can't reply customer's email more than 9 days?

I can't call them because the charge of long distance phone is too expensive.

Any experience or suggestion? Thanks a lot.

Joe,

I can't address the Customer Service aspect of not replying to your Emails.

The publisher of this magazine is Krause Publishing. They also publish about a dozen other Hobby related magazines. However, something that I learned only recently is that Tactical Knives is a "Bi-Monthly" magazine. The company may have started your subscription in between issue dates and that may have contributed to the long wait for your first issue. I would continue to try and email them, insure that they have your correct Mailing address, explain that your Credit Card was charged in May and state that you have yet to receive your first issue of the publication.

Hillbill,
Blade magazine is published by Krause. Tactical Knives is published by Harris Publishing.
I get my issues of TK about a week after I see them in the stores. That's not right either. The editor, Steven Dick used to post here once in a while but havent seen anything from him in a long time.
Anyway, hope it works out for you Joe Chen.

Joe,

Try these two options:

Write to Steven Dick at:
tacticalknives@tdn.com

And, also contact Harris Magazines directly at:
HarrisMags@aol.com

Steven is usually very quick to respond, though I have had to wait for Harris Mags to reply in the past.

I've sent Steven an email to point him to this thread. Hope I've been of help.

Let us know how it turns out.

One of my U.S. knifenut friend email me said he will call TK today and try to figure out what happen.

It's strange that I really don't mind about the delay and no response now because your kind words and help. Thanks again.

Joe

For your reference, my friend email me and he called TK for me to ask about my order.

My friend email said:
They told me that there's an issue in
the mail to you right now. I believe she said that you subscription
officially started this year with the November issue.

Even though some people here email TK about this thread and called them for me, I still have received no message from them.

Let's see what I can get and will let you know.

If you used a major credit card such as Mastercard or Visa, call their customer service department, and have them do a debit to your account. They will go to the vendor to confirm receipt of goods. If no effort has been made by the vendor to deliver, they will credit your acount, and debit the vendor. This is a service that most card companies offer, and it can be quite useful in this situation. I bailed me out on a scam done on my wife about 10 years ago. Hope this helps. BTW, I've been a purchasing agent for about 15 years now, and I have learned a few tricks. If I can help you, please email me.

farmboy, thanks!
I have to wait the issue that they said it's on the mail to arrive. Will mail you if "I have to".

Finally I receive my first issue of TK today.
