Tactical Knives magazine?

This is probably the last copy of it that I will buy. I have been skimming through most of the articles in the last few issues, and I don't enjoy it as much as I used to. The stabbing dummy in the Urban Tactical article is downright offensive. Poor judgement by the editor, in my opinion.

I thought killing "zombies" was totally cool with everyone now? KA-BAR seems to be making a pile of money off the idea as is TV.

I was thinking the same thing. I guess you just can't use a realistic training dummy without offending someone somewhere, even if it's deformed, purple, and has white hair...

I once had a woman get offended during a survival class, over the way I demonstrated the removal of the hide from a dead rabbit prior to cutting it up. She said it looked cruel. All I could think of to say was, mam by all means please feel free to find a less cruel way to separate your rabbit from it's skin...

Actually the way I learned to skin a rabbit (poke a hole in the back of the neck and peel the skin off inside out) seems relatively tame and bloodless! So unless the rabbit was still alive during this, not sure how it could be cruel  ;)

Yeah, I was thinking to myself that as long as it got a quick death, and wasn't alive during the undressing, that I was good on the cruelty part...
