shorty and/or mak90
It's always a good idea to take 2 weapons when going through a class, just in case one goes tits up. I'm ruling out the RPK because it might be a little heavy/long/bulky to run through a class that is probably designed for a carbine. the RPKs are great, but they were designed as a squad machine gun that was to be fired from a bipod in a prone position. I'm also ruling out the Polish kit because I don't know that much about it. I'm sure Jerm wouldn't keep a rifle in his stable if it was a piece of shit, so I'm sure it is a hell of a weapon, but its more of an "unknown" than the others. I'm leaning toward the MAK90 because chinese AKs are some of the best ever made. Their fire control group is renowned for being very smooth and reliable. That MAK90 is one that was factory-built and not a chopped up kit that was redone in the USA.(nothing against kit guns. I've had quite a few, but I would still take an original chinese over them). I'm also leaning toward the Fuller built gun because people seem to hold them in high regard. By taking these 2 weapons, Jerm also gives himself two different sight systems(iron vs reddot) and two different stock setups(folding vs fixed). This also gives Jerm the option of running a suppressor.
Now if I had to only take one, I would suggest the Fuller, since it's Jerms baby. He spent a lot of $$$ on the weapon and suppressor, so might as well us 'em and make sure they work.
Stick that in your pipe and smoke it Fug![]()
My first choice is the Polish 84. The co-witnessed Aimpoint is a nice advantage and the shorty VG helps with maneuverability.
My secondary choice would be the MAK 90, again because of the co-witnessed Aimpoint.
