The Scorpion is designed as an all-around tactical and hunting knife. The handle is angled down at about 8.5 degrees off the center line of the blade to give the knife a more natural extension of one’s hand. It’s made of 3/16” thick 1095 carbon steel that differentially heat treated with an edge hardness of about Rc 59 to 60. The point is drawn down to Rc 55 for great toughness and the spine is Rc 50ish. The handle of this Scorpion is beautiful curly Koa wood scales that are screwed to the knife’s full tang handle and features a glass breaker pommel. The brown tooled leather sheath allow for optional high or low carry on the right or left handed sided and an option to also carry horizontally (scout) style. This is accomplished by resetting the leather loop with the provide Chicago screws.
Specs:
3/16 inch thick 1095 high carbon steel differentially heat treated with nice temper line.
Handle is Koa wood scales on the knife’s full tang.
