The Scorpion is designed as an all-around tactical and hunting knife. The handle is angled down at about 8.5 degrees off the center line of the blade to give the knife a more natural extension of ones hand. Its made of 1/4 thick 5160 carbon steel that differentially heat treated with an edge hardness of about Rc 59 to 60. The point is drawn down to about Rc 55 for great toughness and the spine is left at a lower hardness. The handle of this Scorpion is canvas Micarta scales that are screwed to the knifes full tang handle and features a glass breaker pommel with lanyard hole. The brown tooled leather sheath allow for optional high or low carry on the right or left handed sided and an option to also carry horizontally (scout) style. This is accomplished by resetting the leather loop with the provide Chicago screws.
Specs:
1/4 inch thick 5160 high carbon steel differentially heat treated.
