Hi Guys,
BTW that should say SCULPTED grips. Can't spell this early on a Sunday Morning I guess.

Just finished this up. Blade is 1/8" O-1, by 4" long. All edges sharpened. Serrations on top.

Handle is sculpted black Micarta, and is 4" long. Skull crusher (pointy!) is 3/4". OAL is 9".

Has deep thumb notches and a finger choil. Very comfortable grip on this knife. Very secure.

SS Pins, and wrist lanyard. Bead blasted finish all over.

Sharp, light and fast!

I've included a pic of my basic sheath. If you want one like this, its included in the price of the knife. I can do right hand, left hand, or horizontal at no extra charge. I can also do a sheath in OD Green, orange, or red kydex at no extra charge. Kydex belt loop is included. Small tek Lok is an extra $8.00.

Please note these pics were taken before final sharpening. I like to wait until after the sheath is completed to do the final sharpening, and give the knife a final going over. Sometimes the blade will get a slight rub during the sheath making and fitting process, and I want the knife you get to be completely unblemished.

I will incude a black oxide finish on this knife if desired, for an extra $10.00. If you don't know what that is, a quick Google search will tell you more, and save me alot of typing. Suffice it to say, It is used on machine tools and parts all the time. Its very good stuff.

SOLD(shipping included) in the ConUS. Anywhere else, please contact me for shipping cost first.

tec-lok (up to 1 1/2" belt) $8.00 extra.
black oxide $10.00 extra

That looks like a well rounded survival knife to me. I betcha a solider over seas would really like one of those. Could be used for anything that comes up.

That's just what I had in mind. I actually just got an order from a soldier in Iraq for a 6" survival/fighting knife. He's a medic in the Army. Top of the list for him. All deployed military personnel get head of the line privileges with me!
All active duty military- 10% discount too
Thanks
Scott

A guy emailed me and asked if that discount applies to Coasties too. You bet! It applies to this knife, any special orders, and anything on my web site. You earned it!
Thank you,
Scott

If need be can someone change the position of the kydex belt loop so that he can wear the knife horizontally instead of vertically? Also, is the upper part of the tip (right in front of the serrations) also sharpened? What kind of micarta have you used: paper, linen or, canvas?

George

I haven't made the sheath yet, but yes, if that's the way you want it. It would be easy to do, especially if you went from say right hand vertical to cross draw since the tek-lok stays on the same side of the sheath. If you went to SOB carry, It would be better to mount it edge up, again to keep the tek-lok on the same side. I mold my sheaths to have to the majority of the contours on the outside with a fairly flat inside mounting surface.

I'd use a small tek-loc. They're ambidextrious. The part of the blade you're refering to is sharpened. I used linen micarta in the handle. I really like the feel of those textured grips!
Hope this helps.

Scott,

Paypal was just sent. Black Kydex is fine ;) I would like to carry it strong sided with a slight forward cant for reverse grip use and also for cross draw.
