Hello and greetings!
biggrin.gif
I was wondering if you guys can post all of the Tactical,(one hand opening), style knives you can think of that have Wharncliffe blades? All I can think of are; CRKT Mirage, Klotzli Wimpff, and Spyderco Frank Centofante. Any more out there, production or custom? Maybe the Wharncliffe blade style is not the best at defense,(could be good at slashing though), but it is agreat utility blade style in a one hand opening knife. Thanks for any replies and take care!

52100 blade, G-10 slabs, with either 15n20 or Ti liners. (Ti is higher priced)

Couple things -- first, the Mirage only came in the small(er) size, so would question it's "tacticality."

IMHO, the main reason there aren't many Wharncliffe tacticals -- outside of some neckers -- because too often the blade shape is as much sheepsfoot as wharncliffe. Tom Anderson's knife has what too few wharncliffes do -- a truly effective point! Just wish I had more of that $$ stuff . . .

What Steve-O just said!

Tom's Shrike seems to have a subliminal message etched into the blade: every time I see it it seems to say "Buy me!"....

I love it -a smorgasbord of Tactical Wharncliffes! Only problem is which ones and how many can I afford?

The AG Russell original One Hand knife comes with a wharncliffe/sheepsfoot type blade.

What about the Benchmade 940?? Is a reverse tanto considered a wharncliffe?? How about the Spyderco Centofante?? (recently discontinued by the way.)
