This is my version of a tactical tanto. It's primarily designed to be belt carried or strapped to packs or gear. I rarely ever make this style of tanto, so I really enjoyed that challenge of making this blade
This blade is chisel ground for a right hand user using a 4" contact wheel. This small diameter wheel gives a very deep hollow grind that feels and appears quite dramatic. It also allows me to keep the edge thin; ensuring great cutting performance. Don't be fooled by the fact that it's chisel ground; this blade is a great cutter that is extremely sharp!
As you can see, the hamon is very active on this one!
- 1095
- Chisel ground for a right handed user
- 1/8 Stock
- 58 - 59 HRC
- Differentially Hardened (Clay)
- Mirror Polished then etched to reveal hamon
- Skeletonized Handle - Very light.
- Epoxy impregnated para-cord wrap over skate board tape. Extremely grippy!
- 7.85" OAL, 3.5" Of Actual Cutting Edge
- Kydex Sheath (Large Tec-Loc Compatible)
- Razor Sharp
$SOLD Shipped and insured with a tracking number in the CONUS.
Paypal (Please send as a gift to avoid fees; otherwise add 3%.) or money order preferred.
