I have found this the most comfortable way to carry a fixed blade for extended periods of time even when sitting. This ability to do this comes from the fact that the sheath is not "attached" to you and therefor can move around as you do. The knife in the pictures is a Mark Terrell Harbinger which is not a small knife.

The idea is that the knife lays almost horizontal in your waistband. This allows it to be concealed by any garment that covers just the belt line. It can be drawn with either hand without having to pull back the concealment garment with the other hand. As you draw the knife you get an Angle #6 clearing cut that sets you to come back in a stab with an Angle #7. Being clever like I am I call this the Static 67 Technique. Pulling a fixed blade under stress can be difficult, imagine putting it back in the sheath. This can lead to missed sheath and bleeding owners or at least dropped knives. This way you can get your whole hand on the sheath and put you knife away without your fingers or other flesh in the way.

They are $5 shipped CONUS in Black, OD or Coyote. My min order for free shipping is $10. The TT can be combined with anything else I make like harnesses or leashes.
