Well, I ordered a BM 42SS from tacticalcity.com (it says so on the receipt) and recieved a BM 42S. Avoid these guys like the plague. Will update on the outcome.

Got a rep on the phone just a few minutes ago, and after I educated him a little on Benchmade's nomenclature, I was offered a full refund, and they will pick up my cost to ship. So I'm not getting ripped off, but obviously they don't have a clue about what types of knives their selling. This should never have been a problem in the first place.

Update: After recieving no word for over a month (with no credit being issued to my card), I called back for an update. I was told that the knife hadn't been delivered, and that they had only received the failed delivery notice from the PO that day. They were unable to get the package before it was returned to me, so they issued me a half credit and I get to keep the knife. I have the option to return it again for full credit, but why would I do that when I can sell it here on the FS forum? 
So it worked out alright in the end, but I still don't intend to buy there again since I have no idea what I'll actually recieve.
