I like the look of it for some reason as well.
My wife, on the other hand, immediately thought it was the ugliest knife I own (well, she might hate the Benchmade Gravitator as much...I'll have to check).

Admittedly, I like this design.
The only real world difference, is that the Talwar is lighter, stronger, and has superior blade steel, while being substantially less expensive than the Spyderco or Benchmade offerings.
Talwar has better blade steel? That's a joke right? And maybe it is lighter but that's because it's 90% G10
