Tactile Knife Co Rockwall

They are NE of Dallas in Garland. Just a bit outside the IH635 Loop. I work in downtown Dallas and they're about 20 miles away.
The physical address is 2701 National Circle, Garland TX 75041.
If you Google Map the address it comes up looking like it should; a commercial/light industrial building...not like Qtm4str which comes up as a billboard behind a chicken restaurant .

Somebody is having gizzards tonight! 😛

They make some really nice stuff, im looking into getting one of their pens in the future (trying to decide which one). I reached out a few months back and they answered my questions and were extremely helpful and polite. And im always happy to support a Texas based company.

I have an aluminum and titanium pen from them. Overall, they're quite nice. The aluminum, the top anodizing doesn't match the body. Also I've had four springs, and none of them felt the same. It seems like consistently is a bit of a miss from my limited experience. That's the only negative I can say. For a small company making small batches of things, maybe that's expected.

I've got one and really like it. Had a bit of lockstick at first but worked it out pretty fast. Great action, feels good in the hand, and the milling makes it a really good looking knife.

I’ve had a few of Tactile Turn’s bolt-action pens. The quality and machining is phenomenal. If his knife shares the same attention to detail and precision that his pens do, I’d say $300 is a bargain by today’s standards.

I’ll be getting one of these.
My thoughts exactly, after owning 4 Tactile Turn pens, which are beautifully machined, among the nicest "tactical" pens out there IMO, especially in lightweight titanium.

There are a number of Rockwall reviews on Youtube to help you make the choice ... the Quiet Carry Waypoint is a similar design.

I bought both.

I really like the Rockwall flipper:
* Handle machining is excellent, quality touch.
* Nice design, feels good in hand, except for the back edge of the pocket clip which I chamfered with a 1500 grit diamond stone, and that helped but this area could use some work.
* The flipping action is very good, the lockup is also, with lock bar fully behind leading edge of lock face.
* I like the blade shape, a drop point with a swedge, with some belly, and it came very sharp.
* Blade is flat ground, fine bead blasted finish.
* Stain Resistance: CTS-XHP is at the low end of the stain resistance spectrum for a stainless (it's a couple clicks better than D2, which helps a lot, but is not in Vanax league at the top of the pyramid, IMO).
* The overall weight is pretty good for the size: 2.6 oz gets you 3.0" of blade (reasonably efficient).
* I think it's a keeper.

I also have the Quiet Carry Waypoint, and overall I like the Tactile Knives Rockwall somewhat better. But I think the Waypoint is also a keeper and a reasonably similar size and design you should compare to the Rockwall before buying. I like the hollow grind of Waypoint, in this sized knife, I like Vanax (although Magnacut is poised to steal it's thunder), and the satin finish version is really nice. Personally, I like satin finish better than bead blasting or stonewashing, but that's just personal preference, the stonewashing often wears less noticeably. Waypoint is super-stainless, stem-to-stern, by design. I like the Rockwall flipper better than the thumb stud opening on the Waypoint.
