I am thinking about picking up a TacTool to carry in my squad. I have a Buck Intrepid that I carry now but the TacTool seems like it would be better. Any thoughts?
 
I carry the tactool in my cruiser, right next to my shotgun. It is an awesome tool. It should be standard equipment on any police car. :)
 
I have been carrying one for years...(well okay, it's a pre-Camillus BK&T) in my kit bag while on patrol. Only been used a few times. Once to pry a bent fender off a tire so the nice lady could drive away from a minor accident, and another to smash a window on a search warrant entry, and slashed a low hanging cable company wire on a county road to avoid "clotheslining" an unwitting motorcyclist.
