Tad asked me to post this fine subhilt I shot for him Saturday. 11 1/2" blade , 17" OAL. 1080/15n20 ladder damascus, Turkish walnut with 416 SS fittings. I really like his take on the subhilt. Someone is going to be really happy with this one.

Beautiful, one of the nicest SH I have seen for a while. I'm in the books for one. Good luck to Tad for his MS test this year,

I admire this Subhilt design to the extreme!

And your work in general, having had the opportunity to handle your knives at the last two Blade Shows your one of my favorite makers!

Going to buy a nice chunk of Turkish Walnut tomorrow!

Nice Image.

Nice work Tad, your the Man!

Once again Tad you knocked it out of the ball park. Awesome work all round. Just can't wait for mine😊😊😊

That 'trigger' guard really makes a statement. Very unique to Tad (at this time).

Powerful all around.

Great photo!

That's it, to me it looks more like a "trigger" than a typical sub-hilt lug treatment.
Just kind of sticks out there, where as a sub-hilt band helps the sub-hilt flow into the overall design of the knife IMO. But still, very nice knife.

I really like this knife. The trigger hilt really works for me, and that blade is just a thing of beauty.

Its a fine knife, but I agree with Kevin. It looks very firearm like and while the design may be practical its hard for me to get used to seeing.

Great style and execution my friend.....enjoy everything about it.
