v3 southard compact dauntless:
i hunted for this knife for a long time because of the materials, design, and most of all, the maker. brad southards work is fantastic and his execution of the dauntless line is brilliant. ive not been able to bring myself to put this into the carry rotation, so im looking to recuperate. blade deploys smoothly, lies centered when closed, zero side to side play, shows no wear and hasnt been used to cut anything. can detect a small amount if back/forth blade play if worked hard enough. its slight and my guess is the lock has not even worn in yet. has been sitting in a pouch in a safe, and taken out for a few pics.
Materials:
Blade: stonewashed bayonet-point blade design with jiimped thumbramp, swedge, and fuller.
Handle: green g10 scales with 3 fullers on a titanium bolster framelock with a titanium pocket clip for tip up carry.
Dual copper thumbstuds and backspacer
Phosphor bronze washers, stainless steel screws
willing to work out a deal +/- cash as needed for:
horton - shawty, pkt or tac4. open to any varieties.
cqc6 - nothing super collectible, just a solid 6
afrankart - heavy metal varieties
