Time to clear out some long held knives out of the collection. This "collection downsizing" is becoming painful.

Prices include shipping via USPS Priority in CONUS, international shipping can be arranged as well. Prices are fairly solid, but please no lowball offers. All of them are being offered at a steep discount and/or completely unobtainable from the maker today.

If you need other photos, or have any questions, feel free to ask me at: Thank you for looking, and have a great new year for 2024.

I am uncertain to the steels used in the Goo knives, but suffice to say it will be a carbon steel of his choosing, backed up with a MS heat treatment.

Tai Goo Socket Handle Cleaver: 7' blade and a 4.25" socket handle forged from Tai's choice in carbon steel. Spine comes in at about 1/8". Has his turk's head, pinion stabilized handle wrap and no sheath or hikot. Condition is used. I've used it some, and this was Tai's personal knife for a few years as told to me by him. It's got some history behind it and a few centuries of life left in it. As with all of Tai's knives, it's rare. Price is SOLD and shipped.

Tai Goo Socket Handle Bush Buster: 12" cutting edge with an overall blade length of 13.5" to the front of the handle wrap. Handle is 6.25" long for the length of the wrap, and is paracord that's been stabilized, a different approach to the all natural materials he usually uses. Unused by me and I don't remember if the original owner ever used it. This one has his working finish on the blade, so it left the shop with a very "rough" finish to begin with to hide usage marks. If it has been used, it's been used lightly. No sheath or hikot with this one. Price is

Tai Goo Integral Bush Sword: 13.5" cutting edge length and a blade length of 14.75" from the tip to the front of the integral bolster. Handle length is 7", with yucca turk's heads stabilized in pinion covering parts of the rosewood handle and the bolster is 3/4" thick. The blade starts at about 3/8" thickness in front of the bolster with a gradual taper down to the tip. This one does have a full hikot to it, uncertain to the type of wood used. Incredible package, with incredible balance and presence to the blade overall. Excellent condition, as I don't believe it's ever been used or carried. Price is

ERA3/Matt Helm Limehouse Cleaver:
8.25" OAL, with a blade length of right around 4". Done with Matt's chisel grind from 1/4" S7 and brown VZ Grips handle slabs. These were done in 2017, and this one does come with a (well used) box and certificate. Also, these did not come with sheaths. Unused by me and apparently not by the former user, there are a couple of horizontal scratches around the ERA3 blade cutout on the ground side of the knife. Super solid little handful, and not to easy to find these days. Price is SOLD.

Dave Jacobson Fighter: 11.75" OAL, with a 7.25" blade length from tip to plunge line. Forged from 1/4' 1095 with a brut de forge forefinger pad forged into the handle/ricasso area. Also, Dave did some dimpling on either side of the ricasso, a nice touch of detail. Handle is maple, I believe with some good chatoyance. Excellent condition with no signs of use or carry. Sheath is fairly functional, but not worthy of the knife. Great balance on this one, and Dave does fantastic forge work. Price is SOLD.
