Time to clear out some long held knives out of the collection. This "collection downsizing" is becoming painful.
Prices include shipping via USPS Priority in CONUS, international shipping can be arranged as well. Prices are fairly solid, but please no lowball offers. All of them are being offered at a steep discount and/or completely unobtainable from the maker today.
If you need other photos, or have any questions, feel free to ask me at: Thank you for looking, and have a great new year for 2024.
I am uncertain to the steels used in the Goo knives, but suffice to say it will be a carbon steel of his choosing, backed up with a MS heat treatment.
Tai Goo Socket Handle Cleaver: 7' blade and a 4.25" socket handle forged from Tai's choice in carbon steel. Spine comes in at about 1/8". Has his turk's head, pinion stabilized handle wrap and no sheath or hikot. Condition is used. I've used it some, and this was Tai's personal knife for a few years as told to me by him. It's got some history behind it and a few centuries of life left in it. As with all of Tai's knives, it's rare. Price is SOLD and shipped.

Tai Goo Socket Handle Bush Buster: 12" cutting edge with an overall blade length of 13.5" to the front of the handle wrap. Handle is 6.25" long for the length of the wrap, and is paracord that's been stabilized, a different approach to the all natural materials he usually uses. Unused by me and I don't remember if the original owner ever used it. This one has his working finish on the blade, so it left the shop with a very "rough" finish to begin with to hide usage marks. If it has been used, it's been used lightly. No sheath or hikot with this one. Price is
