??? Taipan ???

Well here it is, I sent taipan, Jeffrey McClain 4 Remington bullet knives on 9/5 and he got them on 9/7. I was supposed to get a used small sebenza and $10. He said he was putting it in the mail on 9/5.
I tried emailing him on numerous occasions, but got no response.
Just when I had given up, I got my bullet knives back, 2 days short of a month. There has been no explaination and no other contact from him.
I also know some other people were having the same problems with him not responding to emails and not getting their knives.
I'm not sure what to make of this but I thought everyone should know.

That seems pretty odd

I did a deal with Jeffrey/Taipan in the early summer of this year involving a large Sebenza and custom Elshiwetz and it went totally smoothly with excellent communication.

Sorry your deal went sour, maybe he's had some issues in his personal life?

Hopefully he'll email you or post a reply soon and explain it all. At least you got your knives back

I'm glad to hear you received your knives back. I did a trade with Jeffrey several months ago that went very smoothly. I must have been lucky to not get the same run around you did. I put a premium on communication, Taipan has failed that one badly in your deal and I wonder why. Hopefully he will post to explain it.

Taipan sent me a knife, then claimed it was returned to sender, a first in over 10 years of shipping and receiving stuff from my current address. Then he said he would refund my money, that was late August. Since I posted a complaint on the other knife board, he has evidently decided I will be the last person to have the situation corrected with, again not really impressing me in the least. Since then have learned that at least one other person is still waiting for a package/money order/response.
