Tai's Jumping edge integral gets a sheath---

This is Wild Goo 22 for your perusal....

Like the knife, this was one is an interpretation of the first collaboration we did in this style.
The sheath shape was inspired by several SE Asian originals:
It has a rawhide cover over a bark tan core with a built up decorative motif and has a brain tan lined upper section and cuff.
Decoration consists of: glass and copper beads, buffalo teeth dangles, brass tacks, rattlesnakes kin inlays, and copper wire wraps.........

Rick said it. On the one hand, that sheath looks nothing like the knife. On the other hand I can't imagine anything that would go better with that knife. Great inspiration!
 
chuck...is this based off of anything in particular?.....i know u take pride in historical accuracy and such.....by the way-wicked sheath as usual!!!!!!!!....ryan

p.s.-can't wait to pick up my wild goo from by buddy on the 26th!!!!
