I don't have any pics, but these are the steps:

1. Remove all torx screws (including clip and pivot).
2. Take off the scale.
3. Take off the liner.
4. You should be able to take everything out now. Just wash with dish-washing soap water and dry off with a towel (I've done this several times; does just fine).

Now putting back together, the important part:

1. Let's call the "front scale" the scale that you see when you can open your blade and see the Spyderco logo on the blade. Get this scale and put a liner in it.
2. Put all the D-bolts (EXCEPT THE ONE FOR THE LOCKBAR!!! THE LOCKBAR SHOULD BE THE LAST STEP!!!) into it and put the scale face-down
3. Put the backspacer in, making sure that the notch at the end of the skinny part goes into the liner (there should be a hole in the liner for this)
4. Put a Phosphor Bronze washer on the pivot (you might want to oil it)
5. Put the blade on the pivot on top of that washer (you might want to oil it)
6. Put the next washer on top of the blade now (you might want to oil it)
7. Put the spring into the backspacer so that it goes as far into the space as it can
8. Put the last liner on top
9. Check to be sure that the notch of the backspacer also goes into this liner
10. Put the last scale on top of the liner
11. Put the torx screws on the bottom D-bolt and the Pivot (you don't have to completely tighten them yet; just make sure it doesn't fall apart, as you're going to be putting the lockbar in)

Putting the lockbar in:

1. I recommend holding the knife upward a little bit so that the spring doesn't slip out. On a table should be just fine
2. Get the blade in the open position (or is closed better/safer? I always do it open) so that the lockbark can go into the tang (it might help to over-tighten the pivot in the open position).
3. Now you're going to get a D-bolt and put it into the scale and liner, but don't let it come into the body yet (don't let it go all the way through that one liner)
4. Get your lockbar and push it in where it should be. It might be a little tough, since the spring will be pushing against it.
5. Maybe you want to use the table or something to push the D-bolt the rest of the way through. That's what you need to do: push the D-bolt through the lockbar and last scale.

Now you should be able to tighten everything up.

The reason you need to do the lockbar last is because the assembly is incorrect if the backspacer's notch doesn't go into the liner. If you do everything else before closing the liner and scale on the backspacer's notch, there will be too much tension on the backspacer, and the notch will be displaced enough so that it doesn't go into the hole. This will mean that when you close everything up, there won't be as much tension on the lockbar as there should be, and I don't know for sure, but that could end up in the backspacer breaking since you're kinda "twisting" it.

Sorry for such a long post... Just let me know if anything is unclear to you, and I'll be happy to clarify it.

It's really not as hard as the long post might make it out to be. Once you do it a couple times, it's no biggie at all.

I've had my Delicas in mud (and worse things) and cleaned them out with a garden hose sprayer and compressed air without taking them apart. Just because they can be taken apart doesn't mean they should be taken apart.

Whenever I get water in mine, I like to re-oil it, and when I oil it, I like to do it directly on the washers. That's just my preference, though.

I must give full credit to Wouter (Mr Blonde). On his site you can find what are, in my opinion, the best instructions around.

I disagree with this guide about putting the blade in last. I feel that that's completely unnecessary, since the only part that's going to cause tension is the lockbar. It's not difficult to put the lockbar in while the blade is already installed, but it is rather difficult to put the blade in while both scales are on (you've gotta use tweezers and all... That's lame).

I still say do everything first, lockbar last. It's a good guide with pictures other than that.

I personally prefer putting the blade in last. The time or two that I tried doing the lock bar last I found that I had trouble holding it against the spring tension while making the fine little adjustments to get it lined up for the d-bolt to go through. Putting the washers in place when you do the blade last is less of a PITA (at least for me) than messing with the lock bar. One thing that helps when doing the blade last is to use a small pair of needle nose vice grips with the jaws well padded with tape to hold the lock down while you get the blade and washers in place. It fees up a hand so you can use both of them to get everything lined up. Also, a thin strip of plastic cut from the clam-pack type packaging that everything seems to come in is handy for pushing the washers into place.
