For sale a forged knife by Achim Wirtz. Achim is one of the best European bladesmiths IMO.
It is very well made knife that I sell because my collection habbits changed quite a lot between the time I ordered the blade (2005) and the delivery (one month ago).
The blade is forged from K340 (Vascowear) and it has 7" 1/3. Copper guard, mokume pin and beautiful african blackwood handle. Take down construction, amazing fit! Vascowear is extremly hard to forge and it's quite rare. Takes a great edge.
Extremly sharp and in band new condition. No sheath.
The price is $495 and includes shipping and insurance. I prefer PayPal (split fees) . Can't cash MO's. Other options are bank transfer and Western Union.
