Just wanted to give everyone a heads up, that Sal will be incommunicado for a few days...actually more like a week and a half...!
I'll answer whatever I can, and can likely find answers for most posts, but there may be some things only Sal can answer, that you wont get an answer on for a while. I know he is going to try to get internet access, but it is unlikely. Vince will be here, along with the rest of the gang, so we'll do our best!
He did say...."Take care of my boys!" to me before he left...(that's YOU guys)

If we're "Sal's boys", it's time to start thinking about Father's Day. What do you get for a man who already has all the knives worth having? A necktie? Soap-on-a-rope? Hey, I've got an idea . . . . It won't be expensive, but it'll be nice, and I'll bet he doesn't have one yet. (And no, I'm not gonna give him a wedgie at the Blade Show.)

Maybe Danelle can have one of those sales where she goes crazy while the boss is out of town and she gives away all kind of knives and stuff. Maybe we can pay Vince to be in on it too. He can give away prototypes and stuff. We don't really want them to give stuff away just sell it to us really cheap.
We will cover for you both of you. It will be worth a try. How about it. Mums the word.

Are you guys going to be open friday the 28th and monday the 31st of this month? I've a four day weekend coming that I might be able to stretch to get in the driving time from Rapid City to Denver (Golden). I'd sure love to tour the place. And what with the prospects of folks playing when the big boss is away...

Hey Bob (bald1), if you're going to Denver for a few days, why don't you swing up north and drive to Homer Alaska and take the ferry to Kodiak. Should only add 2 weeks or so to your weekend and that way I can show you my modest knife collection.

I just need to get out of here for a bit. Need a break. Been sorting through all my worldy possessions now that my kids have all left the nest. The house is too big for just me so I intend to sell. I just refuse to put it on the market while I'm still in it. Hate having folks come through and critique my tastes...

Yes, open on the 28th, and no on the 31st. It's worth staying an extra day! You need to stick around and come and see us. Call me if you're coming, so we can plan it..

Mmmm... looks like I need to see if I can punch out early or I'll be stuck leaving here about 5pm on thursday night if I want to take advantage of you all on friday the 28th.

I'll be able to make a decision by tuesday so I'll let you know. I would like to drop off a Civilian that I just bought as a close out from a dealer. It arrived with a nice ding on the handle edge that I'm hoping can be smoothed out. I'll also bring some other stuff for you, Vince and others to check out like my Talonite fixed blades.

PS Almost forgot...I'm curious if there is a storefront outlet for visitors to buy stuff. I seem to recall something about seconds too. Could you clarify please?

Ironstone is just a stone's throw from here, they have a nicel selection of Spydies...as for seconds..hmmm, I'm not sure..When I see Charlie I'll ask him.
