taking the pivot pins off my 43

i'm tring to take off the pins on my 43. i got the screws out with no problem. i tried tapping the rest of the pin out but it's not moving.

Get a 1/16" pin punch. It'll fit into the hole where the screw came out of, and not damage the threads. You're hitting the recess of the hole, and not the female portion of the screw if you're using a punch that just fits the pivot hole.
