I want to give credit to a great guy here as well. Thanks to Tom Kanik I will be getting my very own Taliwhacker, #21! AND I also want to thank here so hopefully he will see it, or at least hear about it Boss Hog. (and of course I had to put in a plug for Dan).

I'm actually glad that Jerry reissued this historic blade. I was retired from the service on 9/11 but like many, would have "Went over" without a moment's hesitation if asked to do so.

BUT I am glad Jerry chose to NOT make this blade an exact duplicate of the original. I think this is fitting as the event it commemorates will forever remain a turning point in our Nations History, and yes even the entire World.

I do though wish that it came with it's own "Patriot Tag" with the original quote on it but as a last line something specifying it is part of the reissue.

Thank You Jerry (and Dan) for all the hundreds, perhaps thousands) of blades you have donated to our troops "Over There" willing to put their very lives on the line so we do not become slaves to their oppressive mindset.

I commend You Sirs for YOUR patriotic contributions.

Thanks Tom. The guys are more patriotic than a lot of folks ever give a thought to. Knives are their livelihood. If they don't sell knives they and everyone that works for them don't get paid. Yet they sacrifice their ability to provide for their families so those who "Go in harms way" will have the best blades possible, and as Jerry and Dan have both commented MANY of them are "Donated"!

Those willing to sacrifice without being told what they are going to do are the ones that assure our Countries success. They give because they want to, not because they are told to do so.

Again, thank You Dan and Jerry.

Very Well Said indeed...Ooooh Raaaah for Jerry and Dan..Thanx for your commitment to our Troops!!
