Talk about bad luck... How I lost my Sebbie

Hello guys,

I guess it will be easier if I share it.

Yesterday I phone ordered a pizza, I ate the pizza and left the sebbie in the box. This morning, when I went to box I packaged the pizza box and other stuff inside a plastic bag, and when I entered the work I left the trash outside in a big container near the airport. They usually take the trash at around 8:30... I entered to work at about 8:40 when I dropped my bag. I just noticed that I dont have the sebbie in the pouch... checked the outside containers. nothing. This is how I lost my small classic :(

Lesson learned I guess. I will start saving money to get another classic or 21... as I dont really like the new 25. Seems like it doesnt even have a bushing!.
 
When I was around 10 I was spending the night at a buddy's house when his dad stormed in in the AM. "Where's my watch!" He said. I had no idea. We went through all kinds of accusations before be realized he had scooped it into the trash the night before. It was a $10K Rolex!

I lost a Lg Reg Seb several years ago. I couldn't afford it and I was super bummed but I immediately selected another! ...priorities, ya know!
 
That's not really bad luck, there is a few other names for it though. :p

Hope you get a new one soon and look after the next one !
 
If your loss saves someone else from loosing theirs then it will not have been for nothing.

Made me grab my small insingo off my desk and clip it firmly in my pocket. ;)
 
Thats why I buy DiGiorno.....:p ... Yeah when I carry my Zaan I keep feeling for it all the time, thinking my clip or lanyard is gotta grab on something and I'm gonna lose it... I freak when I lose a $40 knife
 
Bummer.

I have done well with not loosing any of my nice knives.


One Christmas, my mother collected the Christmas money, and threw it all away with the envelopes. We did not realize until the garbage was long collected.

The good part, it was all checks! So we just had to wait a while. It was over 1000 dollars.

Maybe it will show up.

I lost 10,000 cash for a week, before I found it, right where I had hidden it.


My mom lost 2,300 of my money. We were sure one of my older brother's thieving friends stole it (they were always stealing from us and getting caught).

Eventually it turned up, nearly a year later. My mom had taken it away from me to keep it "safe". She filed it in one of the filing cabinets under M for money!

A rolex? That makes me want to cry. Imagine he didnt feel much better. I would have been digging through the dump

to cut the box open :p ? over here though you'll see most people eating pizzas with a fork and knife, maybe it's the same in spain :/

sucks you lost your knife, hopefully something good will turn around for you

The didn't pre-cut the pizza at the shop, so I had to use a knife and had my sebbie with me. Maybe I should blade the pizza shop hehe. I have started to look, and will try to get a Classic... I dont really like the thickness of the 21 scales near the blade, that "reduction". And hate the new 25 design.

Perhaps with a good lawyer you could get a replacement claiming incomprehensible quality of a food item that temporarily caused you to become forgetful. Unless it was a deep dish pizza from Genos in Chicago, the case would be thrown out.:D

Just kidding, sorry for the bad luck and good luck on the new one.
 
I had a Sebenza lifted out of my pocket at a gas station last year. I even got the empathetic attendant to replay the security camera footage. You could clearly see my sebenza exiting my pocket and into the suspects hand, but no clear view of his face. Wanted to cry! Luckily I have replaced it with a Wilson Starbenza now. It hurts less as time passes, but the paranoia does not get better. I understand your frustration and hope that you quickly find a replacement. I felt like I was walking around naked without a sebenza in my pocket.
