Good Evening,
It is I,
THE GREAT AND POWERFULLY CAPED VAMPIRE GERBIL!!!

So I'm having my dog read to me the other night, and my pointed little ears perked up when he told me he had the new Knives Illustrated Magazine. Sig, The Mouseicide Master, finally decided to read to me something that I'D like to hear, rather than "How to Lick Your Genitalia and Other Ways to Make Your Owner Jealous" and so on....

Sig got to the part where Audra Draper got an article written up about her. I was real happy to see that she got some press, mainly cuz she's such a nice lady, and her husband ain't a bad guy neither.
(Ya gotta love a guy that's willing to go out to shop for powdered milk, cuz I was writing to his wife!)

So, anyways... Back to the article....
Entitled, "The Lady Master of Bladesmithing", it went into Audra's history, etc. Buy the magazine for the full story, cuz I'm just getting to one particular point over here.
The article reads, "Born in Riverton, Wyoming, an indeterminate number of years ago...."
"Hmmm", thought I, "I can't blame the reporter for not asking her age. That's the polite way to treat a lady, especially one that asks for the stiches in her newly sliced and diced hand to be made tighter, so she could get right bak to finishing her knives!"
Then later on, Sig got to one part, and my eyes flew out of my skull, somewhat faster than usual, and I said, "Siggy, would you please repeat that last sentence?"
Sig said, "Woofity-bark-woof, woofity-woofwoof-bark-woof snarl-snarl-whimper-whine-howl."
Translated, he said. "After earning her JS (Journey Smith) in 1006..."

ONE THOUSAND and SIX?!?!?!?!?!

Ya know, some people age well... but Audra makes Dick Clark seem like an octogenarian on "American Bandstand"!!!!

Okay, that's all I had to say about that.

Glad to see you got some well deserved covereage, Audra, and thankful that they didn't see fit to put Mike's picture in there to scare people.

Making friends, enemies and cookies all over the place,
I remain,

Is it my imagination, or did a Dingo just make a ransom demand for my baybee?

Off to dream about slipping my shrimp into Barbie,
I remain,
VG, Mate!
