Talk me into a Batac

Well, I guess you can tell from this thread that you're going to have to try one out for yourself. It seems like the BATAC is one of the most disagreed-on Busse knives there is, even which configuration is best.

The BATAC is the most underated knife that I know. I sold my Tankbuster because the BATAC did everything I need a fixed-blade knife to do. I've read many times that it is too small or too large but I use mine for everything from food prep and cleaning fish and game to battoning firewood.

I skipped the BATAC in favor of buying (Embrace the Suck) SJTACs. Aesthetically, I think that BATACs have a tad too much handle for the blade size. I'd recommend looking at a BOSS Streets instead.

That's exactly how I feel about the BOSS Streets. Disproportionate and cumbersome to me. The BATAC is closer to balanced by far.
