Talk me into a Large Seb

If you're willing to spend an extra few bucks( why not if you're already mostly there), I'd look for a NICA tanto. They're still around at a few shops and have a more robust tip, IMO. The reason I went ot an Emerson Mini Commander was for the blade shape and its ability to take abuse on the tip. If it fit my hand, I would've kept it.

I would concur with the NICA recomendation, just a bit more sturdy feeling.

I remember what it felt like when I was thinking about buying my first Sebbie. I was certain that it would be good, even great and certainly had to consider all the reviews and praise. I liked the simple and no nonsense design. I was only nervous about the iconoclastic state the knife had reached and if I should actually carry and use it. Well a large Stars and Stripes arrived and I never looked back. I went on to add a matching Stars and Stripes small Sebbie as well. I have great confidence in the knives and the company.

If you get one and find that it is not for you, I am sure it will sell quickly.
