I like the corkscrew better ... even tho I've never used one to decork anything.

I too like the corkscrew better Steve afishhunter . The only time I've ever used one though for decorking is with a Camper I keep in the house to decork wine for Cindy when she uses it for a recipe.

Of course the real life scenario for most of us is our wives wordlessly handing us something that needs to be cut, then rolling their eyes when we produce ANOTHER knife they haven’t seen yet…

Fair enough trade off ... since she be wearing a new pair a shoes/boots/sandles we ain't never seen b4 we ain't allowed 2 queston (or roll eyes ... shake head ... jaw drop & eye bulge ...), only just complement her on them.
