Talk me out of a ZT

Get that 0200. Right now. Don't reply just click and order. Its the most solid liner lock I've ever seen. I will admit when I heard it had a liner lock I stayed away from cause I just don't trust them after many of that style failing. But I took and chance and was glad I did. The lock up is rock solid and thick. The action is smooth, and the 3-d scales are very secure in any grip. The whole package is perfect in being not too big and not too small. As for the 0300 I can't comment on that as I don't have one and probably never will. Can't have AO around here.

If you like it ... and you want it ... and you can afford it ... well, there's no talking you out of it! Simple as that. :)

Tomorrow I am going to a local dealer that has a small selection of ZT folders. I'll check out the 200 and the 300 to see what one suits me more, I might even pick one up while I am their...he has good prices. So we will see what happens tomorrow :D

i got the 300 first and its awesome but the 200 is perfect for everyday civillian carry. so this is how it wnet for me i got the 300 and said wow thats expensive ill jkust get this one ZT then couple weeks later i was proud owner of ZT 300, 500, 200. 301, 610. Its an addiction

You guys didn't do a very good job :D I am now the proud owner of a all black 300. I need to finish sharpening it and I'll tell the stroy and post pic's latter.

Did they use a different heat treat for the ZT line, this S30V seems to be much harder?

Kershaw has the best HT of S30V I have ever seen but this ZT seems to be even harder/better.

Dunno, maybe Thomas knows. I've had a spec bump since the beginning of December, and I still haven't sharpened it. It really doesn't need it. Neither has my 0300, but I finished it off with the white sticks of a sharpmaker just for grins. Same story with my ZT 0150.

About noon today I headed out to the one dealer that carried ZT's, he only had two and I thought they were the 0301 and 0200 but I was wrong. I asked to see the 300 and then wanted to know a price... ya sitting down? $160   :D it took me all of half of a second to say "I'll take it". It came without a box or any papers but I really didn't care I couldn't believe the price.

This thing is friggin awsome very smooth and sounds like a bank vault when locking. It was fairly sharp but I wanted to get a little better edge on it, like said in my previous post the steel seems to have one hell of a HT and took a little longer than most other S30V blades that I have. I didn't spend as much time making the edge look like a mirror but it still very sharp. Here are some pics enjoy.
