Talk me out of buying a Ronin

It was more of a silly way to say "tell me your impressions of this knife." I just wanted to hear some feedback about it.

Don't worry about it. Some folks would rather just take the fun out of talking about knives.

Hi Dijos. I read your review. You didn't like the sheath, but did you have the old sheath (flat bottom of sheath with long tube for cord) or did you have the newer sheath version (pointed tip with no tube for cord)?

The newer one is not near as ponderous, but a custom sheath could probably shave a lot of extra material off it. I'd be surprised if it failed in its duty of retaining the knife though.
