This one came from Smokey Mountain. It's a queen made Robeson for them(smokey).Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think SMKW has Robeson on contract with Queen. It's a nice knife anyways.
I have a Boker and a Boker made AG Russell Barlow. both are solid knives with good walk and talk. The finish was also nice on both of them. The Boker was a great bargin at about 30$ +/-. Joe
Great Link! Since so many of the manufacturers that I know make them, which maker would you guys say makes the best user? I'm not a collector. I was looking at Russell because they're listed as carbon steel, not stainless. Do you have a preference?
I got a barlow off of Ebay awile ago it has bone handles and carbon blades. I do not know the maker it just says barlow on the bolsters. I purchased it for around 5 bucks. The bolster is solid and I remember there where quite a few offerings on them for quiete a while. The blades where dull in fact they were almost squared, barey gound to start the sharpening process. I rarely use it but I may start fiddling around with it.
I have a Boker with a faux tortoise shell handle. It is my favorite slipjoint. Rides well in the pocket with good old carbon steel blades. I have tried to buy a Russell on EBAy but have been beat out by people that must sit in front of their computers at auction expiration just to screw me over. Its a conspiracy I tell you, just joking. I make pick up a Case in the future.
