Living in the Syracuse New York area gives me access to The New York State Fair.
Yesterday was my fair day.One of my first stops was the Camillus booth in the Century of Progress building. On displsy and for sale were three Talon Customs(and so marked).(made by the Camillus Cutlery in house custom knifemaker)
The first one was handled in Bufflo Horn, highly polished black horn.
Number two had bark Wooly Mammoth scales with file work on the blade ang tang, beautiful knife.
Number three (the jewel) was handled in Mother of Pearl.
All three came with pouch type leather sheaths.
I only wish I had enough money to afford one for my collection.
The fair runs till Monday so if any local collector who has big bucks and wants a Talon Custom for their collection hurry.
I did have enough cash to pick up a Becker Magnum Camp (realy nice design and feel Mr.Fisk)
