Talonite EDC or Mini-Talon???

I have decided that I need one of these fine examples of Talonite Bladeware. Unfortunately, I can only afford one at least for now.

So let's here it which do you suggest?

I carry a 154cm EDC as my money clip and I routinely carry a small Fixed Blade inside my waistband at the small of my back.

1SKS is accepting orders now for the Talonite EDC. I don't know when they will ship.

Buzzbait,

I use the fixed Blade more but it has a 3" Blade and I am concerned that the 2.25" Blade of the Mini Talon might be too small.

LOVE my mini talon!! i carry it everywhere, but i am considering getting a better sheath made. LOVE talonite, FINALLY something that does NOT rust after I use it!!
 
In the time I've been carrying my EDC, I've badly rusted a pair of Shimano fisherman's pliers, an OldTimer stockman, and a Cold Steel Bird&Trout. My EDC hasn't developed a single speck of rust. Big kudos to Camillus on this one!!!
 
I would have liked to see the handle on the Talonite EDC receive the same BC and TiNi coatings as the Anniversary model to bring the handle up to the same corrosion proof level as the Talonite Blade.

I have even considered buying both and swapping blades but that could get cost prohibitive.

I thought it would have the same coating??

I just got a pic of the TALONITE EDC. Remember, we are not due to start shipping these puppies until August. Enjoy....
 
I have both but get the mini first...its ALWAYS there around your neck for you to slice something.
 
I received my Mini Talon from CR Specialties last week just before going out of town on business.

I really like this knife.

The edge bevels are a little uneven from side to side but the knife is sharp and I love the feel.
