Talonite?

I'm not a maker but a friend of mine is.

I want to commission a knife made in Talonite but the price of bar stock that my friend found was very high.

Does any one know of a source of cheaper Talonite?

I need about 11" of 1 1/4" by 3/16".

Cheap and Talonite are not terms that go together unfortunately. I do think though that Chuck Bybee would probably have the best prices going though.
