Does any one have any experiance with the www.TalonMan1.com kits. I am looking at the folding knife kits listed on their site. Prices start as low as $6.00 and go up to about $30. Would like to hear some reviews before I buy a few.
Thanks,

I couldn't get that site open to look at what they had.

I can say that the kits at www.knifekits.com are well made and make very nice knives. They use quality materials too so you end up with something you can use. I built one of the 605's back when they first came out, its a great knife.
There is also alot of stuff at www.texasknife.com they have pretty much anything you could want. I think they carry all the kits listed at that other site, but theres hundreds of other kits there too. They have pretty much anything you could want in the way of handle material and other stuff also. Take a look through both of them before you buy anything, there's really a lot of stuff to choose from. The people at texas knifemakers supply are great to deal with also.

Patrick, save your money on those cheap kits and look at KnifeKits.Com.Their kits are first class and you can see some at the CKD kitknife forum.Dave:)

The Knifekit.com kits look nice. However they seem to only have single blade liner lock type knives. The kits at Talonman are more traditional styles like Congress and Stockman. Does any one know of a site with quality slipjoint kits? That what I really want to try putting together. In the mean time,I guess I'll buy one or two of the cheap ones jus to see how a slipjoint goes together and not worry about coming out with a keeper.
Thanks
