Tamahagane or Oroshigane

Is there anyone selling billets of Tamahagane or Oroshigane? If so, could I possibly get contact info? Thanks.

That is hard to get a hold of. Bill Burke picked some up but had to go to Japan to get it. There may be someone making their own who might part with some.

I believe Louis Mills makes his own for the Japanese-style blades that he forges. You might try contacting him? (I don't have his contact info, sorry)

Thanks for the info. I have been contacted by one of the makers on this forum that makes Oroshigane. I am hoping that we will be able to work something out.
