I'm with ya. The color can vary from batch to batch and sheet to sheet in the same batch. We buy this stuff in huge quantities direct from three different manufacturers and consistency is not really any of their strong points. We've been told that the temperature at which it is cured can cause the variation in color. The darker ones being cured at a higher temp.
Ultimately with exposure to UV rays and heavy use it will all turn dark. Sometimes a quick scrub with acetone will lighten it and pull the oils out of it. :thumbup: I have seen handshaped tan canvas that after years of use will look more like a burgundy than a tan

We have looked into making our own, but the process puts out some fairly toxic fumes. Combine that with how drunk this crew is most of the time and only heaven knows what would be coming out of the doors!!!!
