Here is a cool blade design that originated with one of my fans 
It is a mating of a Reality Check knife handle with the 10in Nessmuk blade. It really works well I think 
I did this one in tan G10 with orange G10 liners. The blade is flat ground 5160(1/4in thick) with my usual differentially hardened blade. Overall it is 15 11/16 with 9 7/8 of that being blade. The price for the knife alone is $300. For another $50 I can make a kydex sheath if you wish. I really like this pattern as it is plenty heavy enough to chop without sacrificing too much for other cutting tasks.
