Tan Resiprene C and Moss Green

Thanks for the Info!!

No need to spew my friend. . . We are down to less than 75 of the Black handles that fit 1/4" thick tangs, and all of those are already spoken for on a different project.

If we had them in black, we would've offered them as an option.

At this time, we only have Tan Res C for the thicker tang.

Let's drink!

I'd be willing to wait 'til next spring for mine if I could swap the tan for black res-c. I feel like I'll always be tempted to send mine in for a handle swap or try one myself. I don't usually sweat colours too much but the tan just irks me.

Edit- But if there are no black res c handles then as quick as possible please!

I'm surprised people don't like the tan. I'm absolutely thrilled that my Basic Bolo 13 Combat Grade will be in Moss Green and Tan.

I love the tan handles. Muddy and tan for me. A black rubber handle is more boring and generic. There are tons of knife makers who produce black knives.

Can anyone post pics of tan and some other options? Specifically muddy and sage.. Thanks.

ozgooner beat me to it...but I just took the pictures; so I'm posting them.

Looking at them, now, I shouldn't have bothered. That's another DDF in tan/sage...but it looks like tanker (at least on this computer) in the one shot

Thanks for the reply Bossman,

My interpritation of what Jerry has written is - Don't worry, because we didn't have enough Black ResC handles and seeing how popular this knife has turned out to be we will be bringing out the full flat satin and coated version after Blade show and these will definitely have Black ResC.

Too much??

^Makes sense to me! :D

Does only offering tan based on current stock indicate that the B13s are jumping the O2W line and hitting our hands asap?

It gave me that impression also. From the time I hit the order button to it arriving at my door, the American Regulator took literally (not the Busse version) 2 weeks.

Black paper micarta, not tan Res-C, but...

Moss green RMD with natural non-chemical stripper...aka use:cool:

I interpret that as The Basic Bolo 15 with .195 thick Blade stock

I have a solution. Make a CG version in thinner stock with Black Res-C. Honestly though I'm happy enough to get any version though so I'm fine with tan. Still....id be happy to pay the same price for thINFI with black handles.
