As the proud owner of one of those I can tell you this:
-The fit and finish of both the knife and the sheath are impeccable.
-Hardness is not advertised, but my guess would be approximately 58-60rc. Providing a decent edge retention and still relatively easy to return it to razor sharp. Wajgy feel free to "chip" in to tell us.
-Elmax corrsosion resistance is perfect for hunters in humid/wet environment.

I can vouch for it under normal use. :)
Considering the investment it was for me, I didn't dare to abuse it to confirm the roughness.

Thank you very much!
It is vacuum hardened to 59-60Hrc.

Excellent, glad I was close.
I use a speedysharp (https://speedysharp.com/) to guestimate. This inexpensive nifty little device is made of an high carbide alloy. Unlike its intended purpose, I don't use it to sharpen my blades. I primarily use it to straighten folded edges and "test" blade hardness by letting it slide parallel to the blade's edge. Pretty much like you would do to sharpen the blade except I don't put much pressure on it. The more it bites the softer is the blade steel it. The more it glides the harder the blade is. Having rubbing it on all sort of steels from low to mid 50hrc up the mid 60's I now have a seat of the pants sens of the actual HRC. Totally unscientific but I'm usually nailing it within +-1.5 hrc of an honest reported value. I'll know right away something is off if someone claims 63hrc and then my little device bites too much in it.
