"Tanker A" Pics!

Number # 14...I remember when I was # 14....
Jerry, send that one to me and the "Hogs" can have the rest of the trough to themselves :D

Don't worry JohnnyO, with there only being 71 of them available in total, I am sure the price will rise quite nicely. :D If you didn't get in on the email frenzy, you can bet you will have a fun time trying to pry one from one of these hog's fingers or safe more like. :D

The proof will be in the pictures. :D

I've been unavailable for the last couple of days. When I first saw this offer I didn't realize it was dated the 17th, or maybe it was wishful thinking that it was dated today. That plain edge was exactly what I wanted. A little shorter than my SJ, yet a heavier blade, and not quite as massive as my NO. I'm bummed.....:(

it was all a hoax fellow porkers!!:grumpy:

as it was recently pointed out to me (by a porker close to the top)
the so called "tanker a" is a stinkin bottle of rot gut gin
:barf:

everybody knows james bond drank beefeaters gin:p

when you open your tankera box you had better have a couple of garlic stuffed olives and a drop of vermouth nearby:D

now, back to the new satin jack:cool:

this would have been the first non satin numbered offering eh? I don' think that the green or tan would be a good color although I think I would love the snakeskin and serrations though.

I'm missing something.

OK I'm pretty sure I'm seeing this thread about 2 days late (but I'm not 10% 'cos of the international date line and because I'm not sure how the forums work out the time), but I can't see the "Go!" for this.

I'm not bitchin' (though I'd admit to being a mite disappointed - thats a nice little blade!!) - but I'm curious how this works for next time.

Was there a separate "Go!" thread for these either in this forum or the Bussekins for sale forum?

Or did people just wait for 10:00pm 18 June EST and email Jerry? Or what?
Thanks
Jason

"Tanker A" Pics!
THIS IS NOT THE OFFER! It is just a description and some pics.

This knife was posted in 2003. I assure you, you missed the "GO" announcement by more than two days ;)

Doh!
I looked at the 18 June bit, but didn't pay attention to the year.
No wonder I couldn't see the "Go!" when I went back the past few days postings.

At least I'm not crazy, just unobservant, or perhaps a litle thick.
;)

The cut on those slabs are pretty interesting. I've never seen that before. Mine is standard rope cut.
