Hello, My name is Chris Tidwell of Aichmo Knives. I was trained by Jimmy Fikes. I make knives using the methods that he taught me. No knife leaves the shop without being tested for sharpness and strength. Finally got this one finished up this morning, I'm on my way out of my lazy spell. Today, I have Tanto No.13. Killer! Is that a chisel grind with secondary bevel or ffg?

Hi, Blueridgescout, It is flat chisel grind with convex edge about 1/8" to 1/4" from the edge. Thank you for the complement.

I see a lot of Fikes in that blade. Chisle ground convex is my absolute favorite grind. The old man still has me on his wait list. Let me know if you are taking custom orders.

btw, not only is my tanto one of the sharpest knives I own, I do believe it's the strongest.
