In my experience, in all my time on the internet, no search engine has ever decreased any signal to noise ratio - only moderators using draconian measures have been effective(they also tend to destroy the interest of the message board as well)...
Afterall, I could have shown you a few hundred threads where someone shouted "Use the search engine" which you probably should have searched for to realize you aren't the first person to reply in a such a manner...in futility.

I agree with WYK, there is nothing wrong with telling me something that can increase my knowledge about knives. Those links were great and gave me alot of info. I thank you for posting your reply. John
