Kidding, man. Great choices of knives. The Recon 1 is one of my favorites.

Yeah, it's just no-nonsense knife. Solid lock. Solid blade. Good handle ergos. Not too thick and not too thin.

The tanto is my favorite blade shape. It excels with certain tasks and is less effective with others. After years of carrying them, I don't see why they wouldn't make a great EDC, although I wouldn't want to be stuck hunting with one.

I've found my CQC-7BW to be a very useful all-round utility knife. The chisel edge is useful for opening blister packs, cutting mundane stuff like zip ties, etc., and very easy to sharpen to a hair popping edge. Not the best for food prep (it veers) but it's still workable.
