Tanto challenge

The tanto is my favorite blade shape. It excels with certain tasks and is less effective with others. After years of carrying them, I don't see why they wouldn't make a great EDC, although I wouldn't want to be stuck hunting with one.
 
I've found my CQC-7BW to be a very useful all-round utility knife. The chisel edge is useful for opening blister packs, cutting mundane stuff like zip ties, etc., and very easy to sharpen to a hair popping edge. Not the best for food prep (it veers) but it's still workable.
