Was this the one made in Japan?Cold Steel Voyager. AUS8 steel, cuts like a straight razor. Slim, light, integral clip, easy to carry IWB. Discontinued, but you might be able to locate one.
Probably, although I don't see anything marked on the blade. I must have picked it up 10-12 years ago along with a Voyager clip point, and was impressed with the edge holding, certainly better than 420HC (Buck). The high grind makes them excellent slicers; very tough, too. Quite easy to sharpen. Was this the one made in Japan?
Those are 3.25", I think. Thanks everyone. I like the looks of the Mcusta Katana line from pics I've seen but not sure about the blade length
Checked the blade, it is made in Japan. Top quality IMHO; flicks open like a well broken-in ZIPPO.Was this the one made in Japan?
Do you any of you have a production folder tanto design with a blade length of 3.5 inches or longer, which is a decent slicer, that you like and cost less than $180.00 new or used?
Thank you for your input and any recommendations.
Also if it was up to me I would be looking for used Emerson Tantos.
I have one of those but the chisel grind sucks IMHO.^^
The Kershaw Emerson CQC 7K is a good CHEAP option.
The Kershaw isn't chisel ground.I have one of those but the chisel grind sucks IMHO.
