I was going to get a BT or GB (or both :p ). I was just wondering what this shape of blade was better suited for as compared to a MT or bowie style blade?

Speaking of bowies, damn that D-9 with micarta or g10 handles is cool.

unless your hammering through steel or chopping up cars id suggest an MH, its my favorite strider, i have 2 so far and im thinkin about getting a third cause i dont think i could bring myself to use the one i got from shrike9, its too damn nice lookin!

the MH can take anything you can do to it, i slammed it point first into a metal plate full force and it didnt even roll the edge, ive pryed boards nailed together with it and it didnt even flex one bit.
plus it can cut way better than a BT cause it has tons of belly and it can chop better than an MT (not to mention it looks better than the MT)

the only time i ever damaged the edge was when i chopped through a metal rod (about 1/4" thick) and it only rolled the edge, but i didnt just hit the rod, i chopped THROUGH it.:D
