Hi, for sale is a my take on a modern tanto. I tried to keep as many aspects of a traditional tanto while incorporating a wrapped paracord handle.
Blade is water hardened W2, right around 6". Has been polished to 600g and given a quick dip in ferric to help show the hamon. Hamon is nicely active, though the blade has a "using" polish so some of the finer details may not be visible.
Handle is cord wrapped with ray skin inserts, and features the traditional tsukamaki knots.
Asking $125 + 15 for insured priority. Payment through paypal only.
For an extra $105 I'll take the blade to a full show polish.
