When you figure out what the big deal is with tantos, please let me know too. I personally don't like them, and haven't been able to figure out the hoopla either. Then again, I've never had to fight an opponent in a kevlar vest with a knife.

I would be interested to see how different tip profiles do, since the Americanized tantos I've used don't seem to have that great of penetration power. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong. But it is worth noting that Edwood7, Blade Forum's resident bada-- who actually DOES use bladed weapons, prefers a persian, and gets perfectly good penetration out of it.

That being said, I like the liners a lot. Well done.
