I love the fact that the NICA tanto and the Umnum tanto are very similar in geometry on the front end.:D
 
I am a late commenter on this thread -- I have to chime in and say that while the Umnum didn't do much for me aesthetically the tanto look is just *fantastic* -- makes it an entirely different and more attractive looking knife for me.

This is killing me......I need to sell a few....these are calling me, go great with my LDC....
 
Is the Tanto Umnum a limited release or will it be readily available in the future?

My understanding is that the tanto Umnumzaan will be a True North Knife (TNK) exclusive, made by CRK and sold by TNK. I am not aware of any production number limit.
The first 10 are numbered.

Numbers 0 through 9 are the TNK 10th Anniversary Knives.

Neil has a standard order with CRK for the Tanto Umnumzaans.

Very nice carry IMO!
 
This is indeed a TNK Exclusive from CRK and will be made readily available for them on a regular basis. I am SOOOOOO glad as it will take awhile to gather funds for one. This info came from TNK themselves. Below is their email reply to me ..............

Thanks for writing.

The Tanto Umnumzaan is a TNK exclusive with Chris Reeve Knives.

We are getting then now in batches of 20 knives and they usually sell out in a week or so.

I do have a few now on hand to sell- more in 10 days.

However, as I said, this will be a regular item to you will always be able to get one- just perhaps not exactly when you are ready- but we will look after you and get you one when the times comes.
