This is a custom Tanto knife! Overall length 8" with a cutting edge of 4". 1/8” thick. This knife is made from 440c high carbon and stainless steel, the perfect marriage of hardness RC57-58 and field-tested usefulness, it keeps an edge. No junk steel!! It comes sharpened and polished. The handles are Carbon Fiber; a contemporary, premium composite of thin strands of carbon tightly woven into various weave patterns and fused in epoxy resin. It's lightweight, three-dimensional in appearance and makes a superior knife handle material.

THE POLISHED FINISH: Is a highly reflective finish that refines and smooths the metal surface. This finish aids in corrosion resistance as microscopic peaks and valleys of the blade surface are smoothed out leaving less surface area exposed.

THE BLADE MATERIAL 440C: A high-chromium stainless steel with more carbon offers a terrific balance of good hardness (RC 57-58) and corrosion resistance. 440C takes a nice edge and is fairly easy to re-sharpen. The chromium oxide "CrO" creates a barrier to oxygen and moisture, preventing rust formation.

THE PINS: Are nickel silver (a metal alloy of copper with nickel).

This knife is new and shipped insured within CONUS for $100....
